A Step-by Step Guide to Acquiring Employee Images and Adding Company Branding to Email Signatures
This guide will walk you through the process of acquiring employee images, preparing them in a PSD file, and adding the company's branding elements, specifically a ring around the image, to create visually appealing and branded email signatures.
Acquiring Employee Images: To begin, you'll need to gather high-quality employee images. Follow these steps to acquire suitable images:
-
Request Employee Photos: Inform your employees about the need for their images in email signatures. Set guidelines for the type of photo you require, such as a professional headshot or a clear, well-lit image against a neutral background.
-
Collect Employee Images: Provide employees with a method to submit their images, such as a designated email address or an online portal. Accept various image formats (JPEG or PNG) to accommodate different devices.
-
Review and Select Images: Review the submitted images and select those that meet the defined criteria. Ensure the selected images have appropriate resolution and clarity for display in email signatures.
Step 2: Creating a PSD File for Branding:
-
Open Adobe Photoshop
-
Open the file located here:

-
Add Employee Image: Place the employee's selected image onto the canvas. Ensure the image is positioned centrally and fits within the canvas appropriately. Make sure the ring is the top layer.
-
Delete the image contents that fall outside of the ring.
-
Export the file as png making sure that the width and height are 150px.
Step 3: Implementing the Email Signature:
-
Save the image to this folder in the google drive:
