Sending Review Links to Clients
Overview
This process covers how to generate and send a Google Ads approval link to a client. The link allows clients to review ad copy, headlines, and keywords without needing to log in to any internal tools. Links are persistent and stored in the database, so they can be revisited at any time.
Prerequisites
- The client must already be added to the system. See the Adding a Client guide for setup instructions.
- You have the client's email address or know who should receive the link.
Steps
- Select the client. From the dashboard, locate and click on the client you want to send the review to.
- Enter the recipient email address. You can send directly to the client or to yourself if you want to preview it first.
- Configure what the client will see. Use the toggles to disable any sections you don’t want to share. If you’re unsure, leave everything enabled.
- Disable the feedback form if it is not yet active. The form feature is still in development. Disable it until further notice. A separate guide will cover this feature once it is live.
- Click “Create Approval Link.” The system will generate the link and send an email to the specified recipient.
What the Client Receives
The client will receive an email prompting them to review and approve their ad copy. Clicking the link opens a preview page showing:
- The client’s name
- All enabled ad content (headlines, keywords, ad copy)
- A clean, read-only view with no access to internal tools
Important Notes
- No login required. The review link is publicly accessible. Anyone with the link can view it.
- Links are persistent. Once created, the link is stored in the database and remains active. There is no expiration.
- Read-only for clients. The preview does not connect back to the internal tool system. Clients can view content but cannot make edits.
- Feedback form is coming soon. This feature is not yet active. Disable it on all links until the feature is officially released.
